Egg Vitrification

Process of Cryopreserving (Freezing) Your Eggs is like Hitting Pause on the Biological Clock, Allowing You To Use Them at a Future Time of Your Choice.

Egg Freezing Isn’t New, But “Egg Vitrification” Has Improved Efficacy and Success Rates Greatly

The development of this flash-freezing technique has revolutionized the world of fertility. Egg vitrification is a newer and revolutionary rapid “flash” freezing technique that minimizes the formation of damaging ice crystals, sealing the egg in a glass-like protection.

The Nest’s REIs & Embryologists are Leading the Charge in Advancing Vitrification Technology.

 AGE & EGGS

OVARIAN RESERVE

Woman are born with a finite number of eggs, due to mature and be released over their lifetime.  We refer to the total egg supply as your “Ovarian Reserve.”

NUMBER OF EGGS

You are born with 1-2 million eggs. The population declines at a higher rate as you age. By the age of 30, the total sum of eggs can drop by 90 percent (or more). Although these are generalities, no two women are alike; you may have more or less eggs than another woman of the same age.

EGG QUALITY: CHANCE OF PREGNANCY

It’s quantity of eggs, but it’s also about quality. Egg quality rapidly declines after the age of 35, leading to an increased risk of fertility and chromosomal issues.  We encourage you to freeze as soon as possible.
